Anyone else not received their Ring Doorbell?

I visited my local Vodafone Shop on 06 Jan 23 and signed up to Home Broadband and with it came a free Ring Doorbell offer. The advice at the time was that I would receive a text in a few days with the code for the offer. After a month I called customer services (a mission in itself) and was advised that the code would be with me after 30 days from the go-live date. I called today, and again after navigating the customer service system spoke to someone who said it would now be 90days. I requested a call back by a manager who suggested it was a third party offer and not something Vodafone would honour so I corrected her and said it was in a Vodafone shop. She told me to go and see them to resolve the matter. I suggested she might speak to them and get back to me but apparently not something customer 'services' offer. So I am in limbo and have to put up with people knocking on my door like its the 1800s!?

Any advice welcomed before I go into the shop without the luxury of being able to hang up if they, like the customer services manager, try to speak over me repeatedly.

Mods can't do anything until the member breaches the forum guidelines. Want to play spot the first spam link anyone?

Doesn't being bloody annoying breach any guidelines?

From the guidelines, https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/About-the-Community/Community-Guidelines/td-p/2421960

please note the bit  "repetitive messages" ...

"Advertise, post repetitive messages or links. This includes third party adverts, polls and petitions, junk mail, spam, chain letters or any other form of unauthorised solicitation."

I don't think that covers this. The information they posted was relevant to each particular topic so not repetitive (what we call trolling). Doesn't fit the rest either.

No breach

It could be an edge case as a lot of the material is common to all of the posts. As they are so generic it would have been more acceptable to post a link referencing the first post rather than spam variations on a common theme.

You are not on your own.  I've just spent 5 hours on a web chat and I might as well have banged my head on the wall.  They've given my three codes so far and everyone of them had been pre used

I gave up. It was a complete failing in their part and I will look elsewhere for my next broadband provider
