I used to be able to block single devices from the wifi before using the broadband app. I use to control wifi usage of my teenager as he is in late teens and i find this the best way to do it rather than apple parental control.
However, I just discovered that this feature is now been removed? is everybody else having the same issue.
Complaint already lodged and I’ve told them unless the functionality is restored then this is my required resolution. Given that I entered the contract on the basis this function was available and one of my reasons for choosing Vodafone then it would seem reasonable that moving the goalposts and taking away a key function is reasonable grounds for early cancellation.
No one will understand how this feature is important until he/she uses it as parental control or device control during the day. This "new update", V5.0, is a downgrade. Most of its functions, especially the block devices, were lost. I rely on this feature every day, so its sudden disappearance is unacceptable. I contacted customer service (It seems that not everyone is aware of this feature yet. I reached out to the second team responsible for the broadband home, but unfortunately, they also were not familiar with it.)
@Aperson2000 I had similar issues of lost functionality using the "updated" v5.0.0 of the app. I uninstalled it from my phone, then downloaded again the previous version v4.6.7 and have recovered all functionalities I was used to. You may need to set up again your WiFi router to pair with the app, but that's fairly straightforward. I hope this helps.
