Derby CityFibre - When will Vodafone Pro be available?

I live in Derby and have had CityFibre connected for a couple of months now, I can sign up with other providers but not Vodafone yet.

 

When will Vodafone be available in Derby?

Hey @fr09, unfortunately we wouldn't be able to provide a timeframe for when this service will be available there. Once the area is available on our network though, you'll be able to see this here

OK thanks for getting back to me. Do you know if I sign up for regular fibre now, if I will be able to easily upgrade to Pro when it is available?

Hi @fr09, when the service becomes available, you can move from the Fibre to Cabinet packages to our Faster Fibre service at any point with the upgrades team. When you do move, it would start a new contract with new commitment terms 🙂

CityFibre have now listed Vodafone as being now available on my postcode, but Vodafone website still not showing as available. Are you able to share anymore info now on ETA? (I don't want to have to keep checking the website every day :()

We know that it's frustrating, as advised by Farai, we don't have a timescale to when the service will be available to order. Have CityFibre listed your full address as being available through us or just the postal code area? 🙂

Hi @MarkD I'm in the same boat, the City Fibre site says Vodafone is available for my full address (and neighbours I checked) but clicking through to the Vodafone site only offers me FTTC still, it's only been a few days so maybe it needs more time, but it's annoying their site says it's live and 'yours' is lagging behind.

Hi, it's now available although I'll probably wait to see if there's any Black Friday deals. Disappointed the website doesn't point out anywhere that you can't transfer your home phone number though when switching.
