I've just received my GRANDSTREAM HT801. Can someone please point me to a link with the exact details of what information I need to enter into the configuration?

You'll be better posting in the thread I recommended, then those that watch the thread will get a notification and pop in to help. Bear in mind this isn't really a busy forum so answers may still take a while.
IIRC this issue is covered in that thread.

My setup. Work through it to see if you missed something.

Thanks for providing your setup. I think it could be something to do with port forwarding? I have forwarded external port 5060 to internal port 5065 of the Grandstream box.

I port forward:
UDP 5065 to 5065
UDP 10000 to 10000
If you have SIP-ALG in your router's NAT settings try disabling it.
DNS is correct as you're registered.

I've tried everything. Copied the exact same settings. Tried upgrading the firmware. Still no success. Will try the Vodafone box later to see if it works.

That would be sensible as others have had this problem due to a poor config from vodafone. Did you not test the phone before?

The phone works with the Vodafone router. There's sound. Still no sound with the Grandstream box.

1. Does this mean that VF only works on these ports/ranges? It doesn't use the defaults
2. Should I get Registration even though port forwarding isn't set up? I can't get past Not Registered
@User110920 any luck yet? seems I am in the same situation as you. I have a static IP, phone works when plugged into the VF router but not using settings we have seen elsewhere or on our own equipment (using the latest HT801 firmware).

Correct. SIP has to be udp 5065 and RTP has to be udp 10010

I haven't tested that but I assume not.
Have you entered your static IP in NAT IP?

Yes static ip is entered.
