HG612 3B - is this still plug and play?

I'm looking at moving back to Vodafone as my current provider is increasing prices and so I can leave penalty free. 

 

I am currently using the HG612, together with a a Google WiFi setup that has served me well. 

 

As I understand it, I will simply need to factory reset the HG612 and then I will require my PPPoE details from Vodafone for when I am setting up my Google WiFi router. 

 

Am I correct with regards to the above? Just trying to confirm I can get going, using my existing hardware, before I pull the trigger on the switch.

Provided Vodafone have given you the correct username and password for the router, then it should be as simple as changing those details on your router (unless it's sky you've been with).
