Openreach connection for Vodafone broadband

Hi,

I posted this a while ago but I want to know if there has been any development with VF in the PL15 area as I keep getting phone calls from VF (I have a mobile contract) about broadband in my area (FTTP). The OR can I get fibre say VF provide to me as well.

They do the checks and then they say they cannot go further as the computer says no. I go on comparison websites and they say I can get VF... then their own website says no as well.

So is anyone able to shine a light on this enquiry?

@Mra2008 - I'm sorry you're getting this conflicting information still. It might be that we can provide for your postcode, but there isn't room in the cabinets at the moment to provide.

Hi Gemma,

It would be a FTTP connection from OR. I would be leaving a BT FTTP 300 contract to move to VF. So considering that there is my current connection is "full" fibre (FTTP) and not FTTC there should be room. Unless you are on about bandwidth available on the line? 

Would someone be able to clarify which it is please?

Hi Mark,

I have checked with them and they are all telling me same thing but no reason. Just that they are surprised that they cannot see why they cannot get broadband to me on OR FTTP.

Oh well, always next time. Unless anyone can shed any light as to why?
