I'm pretty much a clueless idiot with technology but even still I thought this would be straightforward but it isn't 😭
I used to have a gigabit FTTP fibre connection through BT, and used the supplied BT superhub wired and three Deco S7 for the whole house WiFi and it worked flawlessly. Recently I switched to Vodafone 900, everything is wired the same as before but the deco mesh is completely non functional. It either drops internet constantly, the 2 secondary nodes become disconnected or it disconnects the main node wireless users completely. Every so often an internet spontaneously connects for seconds or minutes but with 800 ping and then drops again.
I have tried every deco configuration possible but nothing works. The routers WiFi works okay on its own and wired it’s fine even when the mesh is connected but non functional, I bought a new asus router, requested my ppoe details and used it to see if it's problem with some sort of conflict but exactly the same issue. How can this be possible?
Can anyone shed any light on the problem before I have to use my right to cancel and go back to BT at twice the price, I just don’t understand why it would work exactly the same as with my old BT connection. Many thanks

Did you factory reset the mesh units and det them up from scratch? Sometimes they'll retain certain settings for one router that will make them unstable for another.

Hi and thanks for your reply. I did a factory reset on all the devices before starting, and at so other many times over the last 2 days when they just flash red forever. Other things I have tried are:
Using each of the three decos one at a time as the primary node. And in 1/2/3 unit configuration.
Using both the supplies router and an Asus router with correct login details.
Using modern mode and access point mode.
I know the problem must be me but I don't know what to.tey next except.cancel and go back to BT where this exact setup worked perfectly

I presume after you've reset the Deco units you've used their own app to set them back up. It sometimes seems with TP-Link equipment the app works better for an initial/reset install than using the web interface!

Hi and thanks for your reply. Yes I am using the app and wouldn't know how to do it any other way.
With 1 node connected and in Access point mode it seems stable and good speed but as soon as you try and add an additional node then it immediately starts these constant and big problems, sometimes it manages to adds the 2nd unit bit then it starts having no internet and node 1 and 2 start flashing red (usually one at a time). But you also can't connect to the internet and they show as unreachable. More often the 2nd node can't even be added, it gets seen instantly but fails to complete the setup
