Still being billed several months after moving to new provider

Hi,

 

Last November I moved to another provider from Vodafone. The transfer was smooth but I am still being billed by Vodafone nearly 5 months later. I tried going on chat and they said I need a letter from my new provider but they don't seem to provide this, I can provide a bill showing the same number and address, would this do. Can someone please assist me with this.

Did you transfer your phone number, and was it a FTTC to FTTC transfer?

I think raising a complaint may be the best thing to do.

Yes I transferred the number and it's FTTC to FTTC

 

Surely someone at Vodafone can resolve it

Yes, but I think the complaints team would be best able to do it.

It was really the job of your new ISP to have cancelled Vodafone as part of the moving process.

Thanks, have raised a complaint, will post back with how I get on with it. Any ideas how long it takes for complaints to be processed?
