Hi, I moved recently and I ordered superfast 2 , my question is:

Do the engineer need to install something outside or inside the house? Before I was living in a house that it have a white box just under my window, and I don't know if they need to install that, I have the telephone socket inside.

Regards: Jose

Provided the phone line is working, you should not need anything other than the Vodafone modem/router plugged into your existing phone socket (via a VDSL filter plate or adapter).  It's quite possible that an engineer will need to visit the local cabinet, but that's about it!

Thanks for the answer KeithAlger!!

Very appreciated :Smiling:

Hello,

I have the similar question while my house doesn't have any landline currently.   Please advise if your engineer is required to drill the wall to get the fibre/cable inside my house?

Cheers,

Martin

If there is currently no land line service to your property @martinluk, the engineer will need to create an access point for the cable. This will involve drilling a hole into your walls.
