Hello All

does anyone know where you can get a full specification for the new Vodafone modem/router and a proper user manual, I like to be able to read something and so far have not had any luck findng anything.

The burning question that I have at the moment is what is the maximum number of concurrent wifi connections that the box can support? With my old PlusNet box I ran out of connections and had a add a second wifi router.

Thx in advance

Paul

Understand Yep wish I could be sticking to the Vodafone one as I get great coverage in my place from that and the one before it terrible! Thanks anyhow.

Yep hopefully someone else can recommend a good router to buy

Well here's the weird thing - I have not changed over the THG3000G to the new Shell router and yet it's continuing to work just fine and I know I am on Shell's network now as they have confirmed so thats bizarre! Perhaps it's delayed and it will stop working in a few days? Be great if I can just continue to use the router ha!

That is really strange as I believe they "piggy back" on TalkTalk.

Who does this site say your ISP is?

Yes says Talk Talk

Well you are definitely on their network then. Really can't understand how your Vodafone router is working on it.

Fingers crossed it continues to do so.😀

Yep I have no idea how that's happened - did not need to do anything and is just working fine. Hopefully will continue that way and is not just a temporary thing!

There is another recent thread on her where they have been on PostOffice broadband (also TalkTalk hosted) and they have been using their BT hub quite happily. They haven't said how they got on after switching to Vodafone.

Interesting that is certainly. Thanks.

Can it be set to modem mode?  In a word, No.

It is a modem/router and has no other selectable modes.
