TP-Link Mesh VLAN/IPTV query

I have recently had Vodafone FTTP installed. So far all good.

I then bought TP-Link M4 Deco mesh set to help coverage within my house.

I have removed Vodafone router and am using Deco instead. I have set it up in Router mode (as I want to use Parental controls etc).

Following advice from various posts on here I got my PPPoE username/password from Vodafone.

I have actually managed to get the whole system up and running!

My only issue is,  to get the system working I have had to enter the VLAN ID & VLAN Priority under IPTV VLAN. When I enter them under the Internet VLAN & Priority section it doesn't work.

This basically means the 2nd Ethernet port of the main Deco unit won't work for internet, (only IPTV apparently).

Any idea why I can't connect using Internet VLAN details?

Thanks

Not all FTTP connections need the VLAN settings!  So the first thing would be to remove them and see if everything is still working!

Yes! Tried that and it seems to all be working perfectly now.

When I went to the VLAN settings in the Deco app (under Advanced), it wouldn't allow me to just leave thw VLAN ID and Priority blank,

However I just turned the IPTV/VLAN option to OFF and everything is working!

Thanks!
