Im Germany there was a big cable TV provider that was bought by Vodafone
For a while everything stayed as it was but the more Vodafone takes over operations my the more it sucks.
They forcefully distributed a new software to the receivers that broke reception for countless customers.
Besides that they are making configuration changes on services that break separate channels.
My system came back on after one day only to great me with a supposed "Dataprotection Declaration" I'm forced to accept to proceed. https://mobdro.bio/ https://kodi.bio/
But since the wording of the first page seemed strange, I read it through only to discover that it's actually a "terms and conditions" change they wanted to sneak in... Is it legal to present contract changes as something else?
That's it, the quality of service has anyway been bad as ##~##. You pay a hefty fee for cable and reception is awful, sound and picture not in sync, picture sometimes looks like "minecraft through frosted glass".
Granted you can reach the callcenter easily but what does it help when the answer.is always "We have some network issues, this should go away, please patient." Summed together they don't fullfil their part of the service on a regular basis. I wonder what they would do if I constantly would just not pay the full fee. "Sorry we had some transferring issue, I will possibly pay the correct amount next time."
Time to look for a new provider.
