Using THG3000 on another broadband provider network - Onestream

My elderly step-dad has moved away from Vodafone to Onestream and selected to keep his THG3000 router (knowing that Onestream use the Vodafone infrastructure so assumed it would be fine).

Onestream have provided their user name and password:-

dsl000000000@onestreamltd.vodafone.net

p/w: xxxxxxxx

Please can someone help identify where within the THG3000 set-up pages/tabs that this data needs to be entered? Onestream have not been able to offer any help on this matter - other than search the internet!

The router is showing a broadband connection but we can't access the internet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks.

How did you get the vf router to work on another network? It's locked to Vodafone and as you can see there's no way to the settings.

@Ripshod

I think I read somewhere (but can't find it now) that Shell use the Vodafone network, so that may explain it.

From previous posts in this thread (and that PPPoE login for Onestream), so does OneStream, but obviously not at the same level.

It would have been interesting to see if @toweruk was getting a Vodafone or Shell I.P. address when they were on them.

@toweruk , you say the internet light is constant, so it that green?

And were you on FTTP or FTTC when with Shell?

If you login to the Vodafone router, do you have an I.P. address, and what does the Fibre Status show?

In addition to my previous post, where I thought Onestream were Full Fibre only, but you would think that from their home page.

Are you now on FTTC or FTTP?

It also appears they now now supply a router with all services.

Further searching suggests Shell use TalkTalk's network, so even more strange a Vodafone router would work with it.

@toweruk Did you get a router from Shell, and if so what is it?

Most ISP supplied Technicolor routers have an engineer log in that would allow you to put Onestream's username and password in.

I think talk talk use vodafones network anyway

yes the internet light if fully green when connected to onestream fibre on vodafone router but my devices have no internet. I will try and check the settings..

I have managed to get the internet to work with router connected to onestream via LAN and my wifi devices that are connected to my vodafone router work. but my onstream fibre connected seems to lag or stop woking at times.

now that I turnt off DHCP i cannot seem to access my vodafone router via 192.168.1.1?
