Wifi settings greyed out .. Ultra hub

Hi,

New Pro user here, Ultra hub + 4 boosters.  Turned on compatability mode to give me more SSID / wifi standard options due to some legacy smart devices that are giving me trouble (e.g. a 'trust' bulb that refuses to see a 2.4GHz option using the standard 2.4/5 dual band SSID)

I was going to try something here by creating a dedicated 2.4 SSID in place of the 'standard' SSID, and then let the 'premium' be all protocols as modern devices seem to be good at picking the best anyway.  But it's greyed out and says I should manage via the boosters but I dont see a way to do that - ideas?

Also when I dig deeper I see this referring to using my 'super wifi' setttings, I cannot see anything in the app that would allow me to change this:

Have you actually tried with the Vodafone broadband app, and not just the router GUI.

WiFi Hub and Broadband App | Vodafone UK

Yup

" I cannot see anything in the app that would allow me to change this:"

Did some googling and it seems Voda have removed most of the split and other deeper functionality from the UIs.  Shame but I guess it's all in the name of simplification.  Good job I kept one of my Unifi APs around for emergencies.

Hi, similar issue with the power hub. Most useful settings are grey out.

Router automatically sets most busy channel for 2.4GHz. Unable to manually change the channel as it's not available even in expert mode. Also, unable to split bands.

Vodafone seriously?

I know right, you can't seemingly change anything! incredibly frustrating isn't it.

"power" hub my a$$.
I only want to turn off 2.4GHz as not required and all options are now greyed out.  Tried the app and that's even more basic.  Appears name and password are the only configurable things even in "Expert Mode".  Do we really to need to buy a separate router to do _anything_ or can the support team unlock something?
