my contract is coming to an end soon

so like most people, we will go on the web and look around.

But first, as a Loyal customer, I logged into my Vodafone on the Vodafone website and that gives one upgrade option only and that's £32 for around 60MB download and 10MB upload. no other options or plans are shown. very poor??? and to make this even worse it says. This includes a monthly discount of £15 on a 24-month contract, as a loyal customer.

So I then go to the next isp on the world wide web and without speaking to anyone and not being a loyal customer to them I can have

100MB down 100MB up for £20 if on benefits

100MB down 100MB up for £25

250MB down 250MB up for £30

and so on  with

FREE standard installation to the home!

Unlimited monthly usage

Free wireless router provided

NO nasty in-contract price rises

Responsive and friendly support ( reviews say 2.7 out of out 5 for customer support )

Broadband agreement 12 months |

Router delivery charge £6.50

As a LOYAL customer of Vodafone, I get 1 option  ( well that's the bit I can't work out, not sure what the correct words are )

Changing ISP, and getting the new customer discount, is usually the way to get the best deal. (although there is the risk, it may not go smoothly)

When my Vodafone contract was coming up to ending, I called up and finally got someone who would offer me the deal I wanted, but it took three separate calls. The only caveat with Vodafone is the 2 year contract with built in price rises of CPI+3.9% every April.

Also, before changing ISP check via the comparison sites as there may be extra inducements.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Edit: with the speeds you are quoting it is obviously a smaller FTTP supplier, and presumably not CityFibre as I would expect Vodafone to offer that as well.
