Hi,
I left the UK on the 19th of August last year. I turned on my sim from abroad on the 16th of Feb to make a chargeable action to avoid disconnection, before my planned trip on the 20th of Feb (Back in the UK now).
I have miscalculated the period as obviously 180 days are not exactly 6 months, silly me, so the sim was disconnected as I was on 181 days of inactivity. Vodafone usually sends a reminder after 90 days of inactivity, but that doesnt arrive if you are abroad. I would think an email would be more appropriate.
Anyway, usually, Vodafone allowed 90 days after the sim is disconnected to reactivate the sim again. I have definitely done this 2-3 years ago, and I have read this multiple times on the forum.
I have contacted support over the phone and by chat, and neither thought it was possible or even knew it was an option before.
Is this 90 days reactivation period no longer an option? What can I do? I was only a day late and the number is way away from recirculation. I dont want to lose the number.

Hi @Rush2723. We understand the importance of getting this sorted. Generally speaking, if your number has been disconnected for less than 90 days, we should be able to reconnect it. To take a closer look, can you please get in touch with our Social Media team?
