Can I receive incoming SMS if no plan is active on Postpaid?

I am given a free Hero Unlimited Vi prepaid Sim as a promotion by a Vi employee and am considering abandon my original postpaid sim and use the prepaid instead but since I have given the postpaid number for several other services and avenues I want to make sure that I can receive SMS even if I stop using the postpaid sim ((For OTP needs) https://100001.onl/
