Can I switch to esim as a pay as you go customer?

As seen in the picture below, I can technically switch to esim, however it says you have to be a monthly customer. What happens if I still procced and switch to esim?

As the esim option isn't available for Payg I think Vodafone systems would stop you unfortunately @vb2020
