Hey! Have been with Vodafone for 20 years on a contract, now want to switch to Sim Only. They’ve changed me over to a £21 a month, 24 month sim only contract. I’ve seen them offering the same sim only for new customers for £8p/m for a 12 month contract - I called and asked for a similar deal but they said it’s for new customers only. I have 3 days to cancel my new sim only contract with them. What do you recommend I do? Basically need 40gb data, unlimited mins and texts. Is there a better provider out there with good signal across U.K. but mainly in London? I always just sign up to what they say as I’m a pushover but I feel this time, if they don’t want to reward a loyal customer, it’s time to move on. Any suggestions? TIA :Smiling:

This sounds like a Basic SIM only from here Basic SIM only  You won't receive the same benefits as a standard contract.

Nothing to stop you from changing to a Basic contract, the only problem is keeping the same number, easily solved just port out to any other network and back in on the new basic contract or change your present contract to PAYG and take out a new Basic contract with the number.
