Third time of writing this. 

I have my PAC code awaiting my vodaphone sim

what do i do then to keep my old number or now????

When you have the Vodafone SIM @KKKHHH follow the information here: Switching to Vodafone and complete and submit this information: keep My Number  

 

You will have the Vodafone number on the new Vodafone SIM within 24 hours, a tip is to make the request at the beginning of the week, numbers don't port over a weekend.
