Problems with PAYG Plus

Since joining Vodafone on PAYG Plus I have noticed a tremendously better data service compared to O2. And the number port over was smooth and completed before 11am the next day. 

however, I’m now starting to have some issues with managing the account via the App. I’ve topped up cash credit (via the Vodafone PAYG top up web page £5 and it’s not credited to my balance. Only to realise I should have used the ‘Premium Rate Credit Extra’ so I topped up another 2 x £5 options trying to get it to work. It still hasn’t and it’s been a few days. 
is anyone else having these problems and if so have you had a resolution? 
I’ve tried the Tobi chat but the agents seems to go through a standard Q&A and when it goes off -piste they don’t know what to do

Yes @Anonymous you would have been asked to register a payment card.  See FAQ's here PAYG Plus

Yes I have the payment card registered. The issue is that when paying for the extras they are not being applied to the account
