Hi guys,
just topped up via the app and it said it can take an hour, but still not been applied.
I have just gone into top up with card and there is a warning saying "your payment is inline to be processed".
This is now well over an hour and still nothing, and it appears the payment has been taken from my bank account?

Top up credit can sometimes be delayed due to a queue and you will probably find the credit available for your use later tonight.
If you have opted into a Big Value, the credit will be used to purchase the bundle. The best place to check will be the My Vodafone Application, this will give information on available credit and active bundles.

I wonder if it doesn't get applied until the actual renewal date, or data runs out?
I have just checked the app again and it is still reminding me to top up with the box at the top, and i have £0.00 showing as credit.
I topped up by clicking on the 'top up now' button, added a card etc and paid.

Vodafone Top Up is very temperamental and for me it's more miss than hit! I now use Xoom to get my top up vouchers. I'd never heard of it until recently and turns out that It's owned by Paypal. I get my top up voucher code via email in minutes and just redeem the voucher via my online account, Vodafone app or over the phone. No more failed or missing top ups for me!

Actually, i was trying to use the coverage checker today and the map was consistently crashing, and using this forum has become very slow so wondering if they have technical issues somewhere.
And i'm not getting any reply notifications from the forum here this eve.
Must admit, there was an option to top up by paypal through the app so maybe i should have used that!

Hey there @jasons6930 - I understand it's important to make sure your top-up payment reflects correctly in your account, and it can be worrying when it doesn't.

I have just checked my bank again this morning and the pending payment has disappeared, and not been taken?
Bizarre.
Anyway, i have spoken to someone on chat and they suggested i did it by calling 254?

Pretty normal behaviour with Vodafone Pay go. Top up using their website has to be the worst for me! Top up via their website and when it fail, Vodafone tell you to use the app. Top up using the app and when it fails, Vodafone tell you to use the website.
Why they don't just fix it is beyond me! They must be losing money hand over fist because of failed top ups! It's also not good for customer’s, imagine being stuck at the side of the road and you run out of credit and your attempts at topping up keep failing. My wife and both my children have ported away because topping up on Vodafone was so unreliable and problematic.

How odd @jasons6930 - If the payment has gone from being 'Pending' to not showing at all, we won't have taken any payment 👍 It might very well be worth topping up via 2345, for more info on different ways to top up please see here.
