Unintentionally turned on Data

I checked my phone earlier, and it turns out I accidentally turned mobile data on at some point.  I was charged for this, and I'm wondering if I can get this credit back somehow?

As it's not an error caused by Vodafone they wouldn't have to return the credit as it was taken for mobile data used @NJEF

However if you phone 191 or use Live Chat  they may as a Goodwill Gesture.

Hi @NJEF

Although you accidentally turned on mobile data and have been charged, you will have used the phone and data.

However, you don't mention the tariff you are on, if this is PAYG 1, you will pay a maximum of £1.00 per day on the days you use your phone and have the benefit of unlimited calls and texts with 500mb of data, Vodafone will also stop you exceeding the 500mb.  There is further information here:  Vodafone PAYG 1
