Intending to buy a Vodafone sim on a Pay As You Go plan for use in Pakistan. I will be in Pakistan year round so am I right in saying that my sim will not be inactivated and provided that my mobile data roaming is turned off, I can also receive calls and texts free of charge? 

 

Also the call can be of any duration provided Im the one receiving?

Also is voicemail free to use abroad in Pakistan?

 

As in Im free to receive however many voicemail messages?

You need to refer to this link @vodiefone Charge Checker Roaming 

As you can see you will be charged 60p per minute to make calls and 36p per minute to receive.

 

You need a SIM card for the country.
