What do I need to do to enable the credit on the V10?

I have two phones, one a Huawei Y6, on which I have £6 Vodafone credit, the other a Vodafone Smart V10. I wish to move the Y6 sim to the V10,  but when I do, the credit indicates £0.
What do I need to do to enable the credit on the V10?

The credit will be with the SIM, if the V10 takes the same size SIM, the easiest way to use the credit with the V10, would be to use the Y6 SIM in the V10.

However, if the SIM needs to be replaced, the quickest way to get the SIM swap completed will be through a Vodafone store, they will get the number transferred to the new SIM within the hour, any credit on the old SIM will move with the swap.  Due to the problems at the present time, it may not be an option to visit a store and you can get a new plain numberless PAYG replacement SIM to transfer the Y6 number by following the SIM swap link on this thread: What is a SIM swap and when do I need to do it?

That is what I did, but credit shows as £0. I will probably have to visit a store.
