I'm a (very) long term Vodafone pay-monthly personal customer but I've also got a 3(three) contract that has been a "work" phone. I've just spent the last hour trying to convince 3 that I want to leave and there's absolutely nothing they can say/do to keep my custom. They've finally said the quickest way to cancel the contract with them is to give a STAC code to Vodafone to trigger the cancellation of the contract with them and that it won't affect any existing Vodafone contract and won't trigger a new contract or anything similar. Is that correct? If so, how do I go about giving the STAC to Vodafone? Everything STAC related appears to relate to either leaving Vodafone or based on starting a new relationship with Vodafone.
Any advice is appreciated....
Thanks

Hi @AndersenUX
See here. Submit STAC code
You will just be submitting the STAC as soon this has been done the 3 contract will end and you will receive the final bills.

Hey @AndersenUX 👋 As @AnnS explained, once you use your Service Termination Authorisation Code (STAC), this will cancel and erase your 3 number as soon as the order completes on our side.
If you wanted to bring the number over with you, you would need to request a Porting Authorisation Code (PAC) from 3 and use that instead 👍 You can find out all you need to know about these here

Yes @Farai
@AndersenUX is just submitting the STAC, no need to take out a new number from Vodafone.
edited to add: @AndersenUX When you submit the STAC from 3 to Vodafone you use your Vodafone account details, submitting the STAC won't have any affect on the account and the 3 contract will immediately end.
