8 Day Pass - Are those days consecutive?

Can anyone help with the below?:

• Does the 8 day roaming pass work consecutively or is this any 8 days? Vodafone customer services are telling me it's any 8 days.
• If it is any 8 days (non-consecutive), do those 8 days last for a certain period of time like 30 days or can those 8 days be used over a year or more?
• If 8 days are consecutive, does it start from time of purchase or when you hit an EU network?

The Extra will be valid 8 days from the day of activation @Rob2020 

Check the plan you have does not include the country.
