Landline calling Vodafone mobile

Over the past few days I’ve found there are issues with landlines trying to call my Vodafone mobile. Intermittently the landline will just get a disconnected tone then, after repeated attempts the call will connect. Anyone else experienced similar ? I saw a post on a Vodafone site that they were experiencing issues with Digital services, so wondered if this might be the cause ?

Hi @Magicdave2022 - do you know if these landlines are all  connected to the same provider? Has anyone calling you from a mobile reported this and do you know if you've been in the same location with your mobile when the users have been trying to call you? 

I have a bit more info. After lots of testing today I’ve found the problem exists with ALL incoming calls - not just landlines.  It’s intermittent though - sometimes they connect ok and other times they do not. There seems to be no consistency.  As part of a botched update by telephone tech support last weekend, I think the phone might have been barred then reactivated by Vodafone tech person (I received an email saying it had been lost or stolen and therefore calls were barred.). Tech person said ignore it - it was due to the procedure he was carrying out. I wonder if this is causing my current problem. I now have an appointment with tech support at local Vodafone store on Friday to investigate further. Definitely seems to be a network and /or routing issue rather than the actual phone. 

Thanks for the update @Magicdave2022  - This doesn't sound like anything on your account, with it being intermittent. If you're facing issues with receiving calls when you're in one specific location, then please get in touch with us on Social Media. We can then go through some internal checks and tests. If it's happening when you're in different areas, then please test your SIM in another phone. 

It’s an esim and I don’t have access to another phone. Not been able to do test in any other location but hoping that tech support in store (in real life as opposed to phone call which was hopeless) will be able to sort out.  Vodafone person on X  this morning carried out check on my number and couldn’t see any issues.

Please let us know if the store visit helps with the issue if not, drop us another message and we can check with the Tech team on any hidden bars maybe and check on what's causing this just to make sure or get this issue raised for further investigation.

Amazingly, during the past 24 hours, everything has started working correctly and I can now receive all incoming calls. I haven’t changed any settings on the phone so I wonder if there has been some kind of network update. Just keeping fingers crossed it doesn’t go faulty again. I cancelled the store visit.
