83 roaming destinations quietly dropped to 51 on Xtra Unlimited plans

As above, it seems today’s iPhone 13 pre-order window has coincided with a very quiet removal of the extra roaming destinations on the Unlimited Xtra plans. Now showing as 51 countries instead of 83.

I know it’s bad form to reply to your own posts, but I’ve followed through on the checkout and it offers the 81/83 country roaming as a £2 a month add-on. That’s not too bad I suppose and gives people the choice….

That's good that they offer the 83 countries as a bolt on.

Was hoping Vodafone would go down this route (to mirror EE who offer Roam Further as an add on).

Is it only offered as a option extra on the xtra plans?

It appears it’s only an add on for the Unlimited Xtra plans. On the other plans, the 6 unlimited boosters are the £2 add-on….

For sim only yes, try ordering a phone with an Xtra Unlimited plan and there is no roaming included at all unless you buy a £2 monthly add on…
