Apple Watch showing as loan

I recently got a new Apple Watch and it’s showing on my credit file as a loan. This was an upgrade from a previous Watch but that one didn’t show as a loan? Just wondering why this has changed?

Yes @Wright238 

 

Vodafone contracts changed to Evo around June last year, if your plan was taken out before then you would be on one of the previous retired plans where the line rental and device were incorporated into the monthly charges.  When you upgrade with a device this will be on an Evo contract, as you have upgraded your watch this will be with Evo and show as a loan on your credit file.

Regarding the loan, as everyone has a phone these days and they have changed the way the contract is done, does anyone know if it majorly affects getting credit etc?
