Dear Vodafone,
I just discover that Vodafone has added a derogatory mark in my credit file last year for an account that I closed with the support of your advisors.
In June 2019 I transferred my number to Voxi (which belongs to Vodafone) and the advisor online handle all the transfer (as you are the same company) and proceed to close my monthly account on Vodafone and switch to Voxi pay as you go.
I contacted Vodafone again over the phone and online back in 2019 after my account was closed (I have the transcript chats as proof) all the advisors agreed my account was closed and no overdue amount.
Today I received an email from Credit karma which states that my credit file has a derogatory mark by Vodafone.
I have a proof of a chat from 1st of November 2019:
Akansha: I have discussed the case with my manager and got an special approval for you to remove the charges and apply the credit on your account and the amount will adjust in this bill amount. I can see here that there is a amount of bill reflecting your account but it might be due to some confusion last advisor not confirmed about that. I am really sorry on behalf of him. |
So far it's being a nightmare to leave Vodafone, I called last year to Collection Team and talked to different advisors, a few chats online and still one year later after they said it was sorted is not.
How is Vodafone pay me back by dragging my Credit Score down and not being able to access any credit for my personal use?
I need Vodafone to solve this as soon as possible and remove this derogatory mark put in error, it's being over a year.
Sincerely,
Gabriela

I understand how damaging a default etc can be on a person's credit file @gabiux
As there is no account access via this forum you'll need to contact the Vodafone Social Media Team's via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries as they have a Credit File Specialist Team who can investigate.
I'd suggest to link back to your thread here including your forum username so your not having to repeat yourself.
I wish you all the best with this.

Hello
I already contacted Vodafone several times last year and as the last advisor mentioned it was solved......one year later is not. I cant wait any longer while Vodafone is dragging my credit score down by their own mistake.
I already contacted the Social Media team in the morning and no one contacted me what else I need to do?. I have to keep chasing Vodafone because they made a mistake which is damaging my credit file.

Have you had a response on social media now? I needed their help earlier this week and it took a while (an hour or so?) to get an initial response, but then the resolution was pretty quick.

They replied but after I send them information, they didn't came back to me.... so NO not solve at all.

They may not have an answer yet. Keep an eye on social media.
BTW, when you send a DM, you'll get a reply asking why you've done that and I think you need to respond to that for the thread to proceed - there's a list to choose from and "Asked to DM" is the most likely.

Thank you for your message.
I did respond to the threat and now just waiting for the credit file team to sort this out. They mentioned it will take 3 days?
So far I've been talking with different people for over a year. It's frustrating because I need to keep chasing Vodafone for an error that they have made..................
how will they compensate for all the time I lost and the downgrade to my credit file??
