I took a monthly mobile phone contract out in 2014 and ended it in 2019 with a perfect payment history. I was posting my number across to EE due to signal issues where I had moved to. I was told at the time that I had nothing to pay and have been unaware that supposedly owe £245 and this has resulted in CCJ on my credit file. All communication has been sent to my old address and I had no idea I owed this money. I would have cleared this amount immediately if I had known. This is causing me problems remortgaging my house currently and I need to somehow resolve it with Vodafone and have the CJ removed off my file. Who do I contact within Vodafone?

Contact the Vodafone Social Media Teams via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries and they'll involve their Credit File Specialist Teams to check if the default which would last 6 years is warranted or not.
