I closed my account around 2016 (I think) yet it is still showing as live on my credit record, and that it is being paid and up to date.
I am wanting to apply for a mortgage so want this removing urgently. I phoned up your customer support who advised it would be on there for 6 years. This cannot be correct.
My old account number ended [Removed]. The email address associted with that account is the same as I signed up to this forum with.
Please can someone attend to this immediately.

I'm sorry to hear there was a mix up with the cancellation of your account @COYS61. One of our Credit File specialists will be able to get this sorted and remove any incorrect information for you. I have the same problem. I have not had an account with Vodafone since 2016 but it is still showing as active. Can someone get in contact with me to rectify this immediately. Thank you

Things have now changed on the Vodafone Forum as account access assistance is no longer available.
Instead please engage with the Vodafone Social Media Teams via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries as they have a dedicated Credit File Specialist Team they can ask to investigate this for.you.

Hi please anyone can help me on a default,I had a vodafone contract in Jan,2015 and was defaulted in same year .
It has been removed from my credit report after six year in 2020 and now again same vodafone default showing on my credit report after 1 year .
please help me on this how can I remove this?
