Continuous "You've Swapped Your SIM" texts & configuration messages

Hello,

I am on a Contract and I used my SIM to test a 5G Router.

When I put it back into my Android phone (Xiaomi Mi 11T) into the same SIM slot, I got the first "Swapped SIM" text and shortly after the 'Configuration Settings' message which I OK'd to load them.

Ever since I keep getting multiples of the same "You've Swapped Your SIM" texts & configuration messages - 17 today so far.

I have loaded the configuration messages a couple of times and rebooted my phone. Calls & 5G data works ok.

Why am I continuously (3 days so far) receiving these messages and how do I make them stop?

Thanks,

Hello @markie76

Perhaps give this a try if your using an Android phone.

Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Don't have an option like that.

As you have probably guessed this is due to you using the SIM in a router, you can try deleting the installed APN in the router.  Check out the APN configuration settings in the phone and restore to default, there is further information from Vodafone here Device Guides

As this will be SIM related, a replacement SIM may solve the problem.  Replacement SIM

The APN in the router is set to 'Auto' and has switched back to 'Three'
