Hello everyone,
I have a question about the cooling off period in sim only deals. Namely, I signed a contract on 20th September and decided to break it on ten days later on 30th. So, I called the customer service and told them about my decision. I also requested a pac code to port my old number to a new provider. Later on that day I called them again to double check if the contract was terminated. They told me that the number does not exist on their registration, so it seemed to be confirmed. Due to problems with transferring my new number to the new provider (taking off simlock, delay caused by the new provider) I had my number transferred on 9th October. Today I received my latest bill and the termination fee of over 300 pounds was added to it. My question is if they have right to do this if they were informed that I want to terminate my contract after ten days of signing it. According to their terms and conditions it suffices to call or mail them to terminate the contract. I would really appreciate if you could take your time and help me. Thank you

The cancellation period is 14 days from when the contract was taken out @Darek as you were close to this time limit by not using the PAC immediately to cancel the number you exceeded the 14 days.
Not sure if anything can be done when yopu were outside the 14 day cancellation period but no harm dropping the Social Team a message here Contact us
