Hi

I was just looking at getting a car..My credit rating has been lowered by Vodafone.

I've been a loyal customer and I've been paying direct debit for many many years .

I need to get this problem resolved ASAP..  I've always been good for my payments.

I found out as it was the car lease company that saw it was Vodafone taking my rating down by using Experian.

How do I go about getting this resolves please

Thanks

Darren

Definitely speak with the Vodafone Social Media Team's Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries as they have a dedicated Credit File Specialist Team who can investigate.

Unfortunately there is no account access via this forum @dazemo

Have you checked what Vodafone are reporting for you at somewhere like Clearscore? Is it correct or not?

My made up score has just gone down 12 points as I took out a new Vodafone contract.

I had a chat with Experian.  The guy there was very helpful and said he could see a £99 payment I didn't pay.

I have a PAYG sim now but before I was being looked after by a company called EVOLVE (now Onecom) .it must have been that.

I left I wasn't happy with the way I was looked after..(especially when sometimes my monthly bills were over 1K)

I left about 3 years ago..I didn't get any emails telling me I had to settle a balance ..nothing at all.

So it must be this that has taken my credit score down.. Sort of makes sense from a company like that.

Just need to know best way to resolve it..

Thanks for your help guys

Hi @dazemo, it sounds like the account showing on your credit report could be linked to one of our older systems or a business system. As suggested by @BandOfBrothers, we would recommend that you give our Credit File Specialists a message on Twitter or Facebook. You can find the contact details here and just remember to include your Community username.

Ok many thanks
