I asked for all promotional and marketing text to be stopped in july....yet I'm still getting them.
When I receive these texts, there is no number, it just comes up as vodafone. I have received other communication via this "number" so I have no doubt to its authenticity. I can't block because I don't have a number. I've asked vodafone for the number, so I can manually block, they tell me they can't give me that number.
Yet when I raise the issue, they tell me they need the number to confirm its really vodafone sending these texts. These messages contain links to the vodafone website, to vodafone campaigns.
I'd be grateful if anyone can supply that information
If you're a vodafone mod, unless you can give me the number, don't insult me by telling me to use social media "to reach out" it'll just get you added to another cisas complaint. I've tried using chat......it crashes and conveniently doesn't always email the chat logs, I've tried calling and get hung up on.

I have done everything in my power to stop these marketing and promotional texts from vodafone. I have opted out, ticked boxes, set preferences, called, chatted, complained for months.
Isn't that enough?

Totally appreciate your frustration with this situation and are perfectly right to want to vent here on the Vodafone Community Forum where customers help fellow customers.
You've been pretty clear you don't wish to be “ insulted ” by being directed to the Vodafone Social Media Team's Social Media Platforms, and as account access isn't available via this forum the link I added earlier is all I can offer as a fellow customer, sorry.

Have you tried sending STOP SMS to 9774?
