Hi I paid a Vodafone account off via a debt agency but have noticed a default on my credit file for an amount outstanding how can I get this resolved ?

Either speak to customer services on 0333 3040191 or the Social Media Team's as they have a dedicated Credit File Specialist Team. 

However if a default is warranted it'll remain for 6 years even if paid off @Mandz63 but should show as Settled instead of Outstanding.

The only time a default can be removed is when it has been placed in error, in this case you owed the money and paid this off through a debt agency.

It takes 30 days for a file to be updated, fortunately, the debt will be marked as settled and this will be taken into consideration when applying for credit.
