I have an account with still with vodafone and I have a default from March last year still on my credit report even though I have asked for it to be resolved! 😡😤

Is there a direct contact to get this sorted?

Hi @tonypj234

The best way to get this solved is by speaking to the Social Team through social channels here: Contact Us , they will be able to put you in direct contact with the Credit Team who will take ownership of the problem.

Hi @tonypj234

It can take up to 24 hours to receive a reply.  Someone from the team should get to the thread tomorrow and get this escalated.

edited to add:  @tonypj234 The Team here on the forum will no doubt get to the thread.  As you still have an account with Vodafone and would be making payments, you certainly shouldn't have a default. There is also the complaints procedure, this way someone will take complete ownership to resolution. This information is here: Complaints

I hope all goes well for you.

Hi @tonypj234

Was the Default warranted or not ?

If warranted then it would remain on your file for 6 years.

Paying the monies owed would change it's status from Outstanding to Settled which looks better when a business is conducting a search.

If it wasn't warranted in your view then the Vodafone Social Media Team's have a dedicated Credit File Specialist Team who can investigate. The Facebook Team will answer your message ASAP and collate your information, and pass it to the Credit File Specialist Team.

You could also contact them via Twitter DM.

You could also speak with one of the Credit Houses i.e experian and enquire about a Notice of Correction and ask them for further advice.

More information in Default-on-your-Credit-File-How-to-add-a-Notice-of-Correction.

I wish you all the best with this.
