Early cancellation fee is crazy

So I got a pixel watch LTE a few weeks ago so to make the most of it I switched from Voxi to Vodafone to pair the SIM with the watch. I didn't know how much the eSim would be when choosing a data plan so I chose Unlimited for £20 a month which is fine but once I got the SIM set up I realised it would be a further £7/8 for the eSim. So I was going to cancel and go back to voxi but I've been working 7 days for weeks so anytime i remembered about doing it I was busy (my fault for not setting a reminder)

I know I signed up for a contract but getting a 2 weeks cancellation period is ##~## insane and should be illegal. Near enough any purchase for a physical product from a store you get a month to change your mind. I don't even need anywhere near unlimited data. Voxi gives you unlimited social media use and video streaming so I never had to check how much data I used but just over 2 weeks into this plan I've not even used 15Gb, 2 weeks isn't enough to find out if this plan actually suits my needs and it'll cost £440 to cancel

Hello 👋 @maxwell635

I certainly understand how busy our life's can be however with most contracts everywhere there is as your aware a cooling off period.

There isn't a way to circumvent this if Vodafone Customer Services have advised of the cancel fee I'm afraid.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎
