Ending my own contract but wish to maintain other lines associated with my account

Hi,

Anyone have experience of this? 

I'm looking to switch to another provider (I'm out of contract period) but have two additional lines on my account for my kids phones. These are still in contract until 2024. If I switch to another provider and take my number, will I still have access to the Vodafone main account to continue to make changes to the other two lines and of course pay the bills? 

 

I guess I'm worried that if I switch, my kids accounts will become orphaned and then I'll have a hard time figuring all that out with Vodafone support!! When I log into My Vodafone today I have to select which phone line I wish to receive the OTP code for logging in, in my new scenario I won't have that phone line for authentication.

@DrDroid - when your mobile number has left us, if you have an alternative contact number set up then you can log into your My Vodafone account using that. If it doesn't work, then please get in touch with my team on Social Media and ask us to delete your current online account details. This is so your email address can be removed and the online account details reset. Once this has been done, you'll then be able to create a new online account using the same email address as before, for the remaining numbers on your account.

As far as is known @DrDroid if the cancelled number was the main  number on the account, you would need to set up a new account for the remaining numbers. 

 

The Social Team will pick up the thread and confirm this for you.
