Leaving vodafone

Hello I have been with Vodafone for many years and I am out of contract but now that I've retired I would like to reduce my costs. All I want is a 30 day SIM only rolling contract with a decent amount of data. I'm currently paying £33:a month for 40 GB data.

Can anyone help me resolving this

Don't go for a 30 day SIM @arcodan511412 you will pay more, go PAYG it will be a lot cheaper and gives you flexibility to change the monthly bundle, the added advantage is getting roll over data.  See here: PAYG 

You are out of contract and are free to change your tariff.  To move the number to PAYG will mean speaking to Vodafone though Customer Service channels, if you call you will be connected to the correct Team.  See here: Cancel Account Keep Number

Can I cancel a PAYG package whenever I like with no penalty

Also I will have to pay extra to use in Europe.

Unlike monthly contracts, there's no commitment with PAYG @arcodan511412 , you are free to leave whenever you wish.

You will need a roaming bundle here: Charge Checker Roaming Unless you took out an inclusive plan with added extras this will be the same for pay monthly but you are looking to reduce your monthly costs.
