Missold upgrade cancelled and Reverted Tariff Discount not applied.

Negotiated a deal with Upgrade Team in the Chat for 3 lines

However not what we had agreed. Contacted Customer Relations about it.
Not willing to do anything as Claiming that I agreed to the Terms and Condition which were agreed after being told what I am getting.
Offered me £20 as Goodwill and upped it to £40 after I asked for deadlock letter.
Cancellation reverted back to my old Tariff but not correct discount. So now going to pay £11.22 per line extra this month for no gain. 🤔
And as rejected the £40 Goodwill offer, I am not entitled to the £11.22.

 

Have raised it with CEDR. Let's see what happens.

Moral of the story is Please try and get Normal customer service to resolve it, as they might see more sense before contacting Customer Relations.
Most Customer Relation Agents there can never do something on their own and have to get in touch with Normal Customer Service.

CEDR have accepted my case and have now given Vodafone 3 options.

 

Settle the dispute with you
Submit a written Defence to your claim
Submit an objection to CEDR on grounds of eligibility for adjudication

 

Wonder what option Vodafone will take?

Still willing to go with option 1. You know where I am.

CEDR has rejected my claim.

Disappointed with the decision.

 

At least on 5 occasions in the chat, I asked and Agent said the new Tariff is same as my current one.

But as I agreed to T&Cs at the end, that takes precedence.

 

Taking it to the Small Claims court now.

Just an update.

 

Claim filed in Small Claim court. Vodafone appointed external Lawyer to fight the case.

Court suggested mediation and put the case on hold till 31Dec.

However looks Vodafone's lawyer did not agree to mediation before the 31Dec deadline.

So now waiting for a hearing date.

And Vodafone has done it again to me.
Agreed a deal and this time I was very Clear on what we were agreeing to and what will be included in my New Tariff. But Once again the agent on Live Chat put me on a different Tariff.
And did that for only 1 line instead of all 3.

Court date has been set for November for the Missold Upgrade last year.
Will wait to see the Outcome for this one else will add it to the Case.

Can't believe the amount of time it's been going on.
