Looking back on your previous posting, I notice you recently change a PAYG number to business.
To answer your question and I am sure my reply will be correct. You can't move contract numbers around, you would in effect be changing the terms.
If business is the same process as consumer, you would need to port out the business number to any other network and port back in on the temporary number, this would mean you would lose the temporary number and in the process the business account would be closed leaving you liable for early termination charges.
However, you mention the business number will be replacing a temporary number and it would also depend on how long the business number has to run. The other alternative is to wait until the business contract expires, and then move the number by porting out and back in and take out a new business number with a better deal.
Have a word to the Business Team they will have the necessary account access and will be in a good position to give the best help and advise.
