Moving Number from a physical SIM to an ESIM

I'm looking to switch to an iphone 12 and use an vodafone ESIM for my Personal number. Can I request a PAC code and then switch numbers once I ve converted the new SIM to an ESIM? Or should I move my number across to the physical SIM and then convert that into a ESIM?

Really what I'm asking is , can you transfer numbers using a PAC code from a normal SIM to an ESIM?

Thanks

Hey @dan0130 I hope you're well 😊

If you are already a Vodafone customer, you will not need a PAC to move your SIM to an eSIM. If you are currently with another network, you will first need to take out a contract with Vodafone and then port your number over so that the SIM can be converted.

Please have a look at our dedicated eSIM page here as this has some checks you should do to make sure your phone is eligible and it tells you how to go about moving from a physical SIM to an eSIM!
