Hi there, I am in the same boat as you and am having the same problem. Over the opast 3 days I have been told the same thing. number ported onWednesday 20 April. But as it is a split port. They have given me the same story as you. And now have said today to give them another 72 hours (business hours). The worst service ever as not getting same information from each advisor. The advisor I spoke to yesterday assured me it will be done in the next 24 hours and siad you will not have to callback regarding this matter in the next 24 hours. Today they are asking until Wednesday 27 April to be sorted out. Beginning not to trust Vodafone customer services.
Would recommend to all guys coming to vodafone. Just join them if you need a new number as if you are porting it. Good Luck!

Do not believe the indians or the Egyptians. I have been told that they do not have the resources to sort it out even though they think. Please email [Removed for security]. Com (all lower case no spaces. He will arrange for a staff from the directors office in stoke to ring you. They sorted it in mins. For me it's taken 15 months bro. Keep your chin up.

Hello I have the same problem. I ported from Vodafone to giffgaff on 6/5/2016 it seemed to work until I realised that no one on the Vodafone network could call me or send SMS texts. Attempts to call result in number unavailable, SMS texts are not delivered. Outgoing calls fine to any network, incoming calls and SMS fine from any network EXCEPT Vodafone. Smells like a split porting problem to me. Can anyone help me!

It only took two weeks to get my number ported. Vodafone insisted repeatedly that they had undertaken all the work at their end and there was nothing else thay could do. The recipient service provider repeatedly asked for the porting files to be transferred IN FULL. Their customer support was a breath of fresh air and because I used to work in the comms industry I knew about the MNP system and Syniverse etc. It was crystal clear that the fault was with Vodafone not completing their work (possibly not coincidental with the original split port having been on a Friday). Eventually they managed to send the porting files properly, as they should have two weeks earlier. AllI can say is I am so glad to be rid of Vodafone. I will never return, and I will do everything to persuade all my friends to leave them. There is an Ombudsman complaint in the pipeline and I hope it costs them a fortune.
