No incoming calls or texts after porting number

Hi,
It has been 1 week since I ported my number to Vodafone. However, I have been told it has not been ported fully as a result of a split port. I cannot receive calls and cannot send or receive texts. I've called Vodafone customer services endlessly over the past week and spoken to the porting team as well who have told me nothing but lies. They said they have sorted it out on 3 separate occasions and told me to wait 24 hours, yet it is still the same.

On my last call I was told they have escalated my query and have asked my previous network to send over the remaining files that were supposed to come along with the porting process. However, I have spoken to 3 and they say they have nothing else to send.

It is unbelievable that in my first week of contract with Vodafone I am unable to use the service because I cannot receive calls or texts. No one is offering solutions and I now keep getting fobbed off when I call Vodafone customer service. 1 week of no service is terrible. Please someone help!

@apar05 We've not received any emails from the email address registered within your profile.

Please see the latest private message I've sent with an alternative way to get in touch.

Hello @Rahim,

I have contacted you in the way you have recommended.

Can you pls have a look into it?

Thanks

Message to anyone experiencing a porting issue. Don't waste your time on this forum, or on the chat/phone. They can't help you. If you can, go to your nearest Vodafone store and they will call the Tech team direct on your behalf and get it sorted. After over a week of this issue it has finally been resolved, without the help of anyone on here.

In response to the Tech Team as to why I don't have an online account, this is because when I went to set one up it said I had to verify my number via text - but my phone wasn't receiving texts! How ironic.

I hope everyone manages to get their porting issue solved. Best of luck, people.

@apar05 We're still unable to see any emails from yourself via the registered email address within your profile.

You'll need to get in touch using a different email address.

@AbsC We're glad to hear your issue has been resolved.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused along the way.

@Rahim I still haven't got the problem sorted.!! I can't receive any calls or texts.

I followed your suggestion of sending email to the address provided. But after 7 days I got a reply that the email hasn't been sent permanently.

As per your instructions I have sent an email about my issue to from a different email id to eforum email id. Could you please sort out

@apar05

If you've emailed us, let us know the reference number (#123456) from the automated reply and we'll check we've got it.

Hello @Carly @Rahim

I have tried sending email from 2 my different email ids to the email address @Rahim provided.
On both occasions, the delivery of the email was delayed for 5 days (10 days in total) and it failed to deliver to this address at end of it.
I did use the reference code @Rahim provided me over private message in my email subject.
Could you provide another way?

Its been almost 4 weeks since the problem not solved.

I can't receive any calls or texts. (I can ONLY receive calls from people using Vodafone network but not from others).

@apar05 I'm sorry to hear you've been unable to contact us via email.

Please try clearing your cache and cookies or use an alternative device and send the message again.

Once sent, please check your junk/spam folder as the reference number in the reply may be sent there.

If this still doesn't work, it may be best to contact our Live Chat team, or call us on 191 from your Vodafone number.

Also experiencing this issue - EE (orig. T-Mobile), port to V pay monthly, iPhone7.

Two long web chats, two visits to stores, two sim cards, and a call to customer support - still can't receive calls or texts...7 days after port was 'confrimed' complete 😕

@pouli

I've sent you a private message with details on how to get in touch so we can help get things sorted.

@apar05

If you've been unable to contact us via the email form, you'd need to call us or speak with the Live Chat team.

The only other option is if you have a Twitter account, you can send a direct message to the VodafoneUKhelp account with your full name and mobile number. Our Social Media team will then get in touch to help.
