Nor registered on network

Hello,

I received an e mail from Vodafone saying my old number would be moved on 03/05/24 and i would be sent an e mail or text.  Nio text or e mail was sent and i now only have my new phone with no network connection.  I have a Vodafone sim but if i try and make a call i get a not registered on  network message.  Any ideas what i can do.
