Or should I say lack of it.
And Vodafone not willing to do what they promised, because there is no note to say it was agreed.
So, question is how can we (as customers) ensure that everything will be noted on the Account?
And due to this, I have decided to move one of my lines to another provider. Slightly cheaper than what I currently pay. So might as well build some Goodwill elsewhere.
Never know, might get a good deal to move my 3 lines to them when my discount ends in Jul21.

We have to trust the agent to place those notes on the account in the first place @Getafix which as we know from past threads can sometimes either not happen or the notes are not inputted right and not confirmed so the notes do not save or their systems glitch.
We know Vodafone record some telephone conversations but they are only retained for a limited amount of days.
With Live Chat we can opt to save the transcript of the conversation.
A person wanting to make sure a Note has been saved from a voice conversation can rask for a Subject to Access Request ( SAR ) but that's an extreme way of checking.
Or phone back in a few days and ask the agent to read back what has been noted.
It's a shame this has instigated a move to another network and I assume that alternative network offers usable signal and data speeds where you live, work and commute and visit ?

Thanks @BandOfBrothers
I moved the line that I use in my car. I got a good deal on it.
This just was the reason to think about building Goodwill with other Network. Hence decided to take one line. Come July once my Discount ends on the other 3, then might be in able to get a better deal with the new provider.
The reason for posting is to make others aware to make sure they ensure what has agreed is noted down.
On this occasion, not sure what a Complaint will achieve as they will say the same that Notes are not there.
Hence I have decided to vote with my feet. So taking one line and Broadband to another provider.

You're very welcome @Getafix
I hope all goes well for you and sorry for my late reply.
One thing that puzzles me however is that you've also mentioned @AnnS in your same reply and I can't see a reply from Ann to you in this thread.
What do you mean by “ The reason for posting is to make others aware to make sure they ensure what has agreed is noted down. ”
Have a great Christmas.

The reply was to a deleted post.
Just as it says. Just making whoever reads this posts, that they need to ensure what is agreed is noted down, so incase of issues later on, it can be referred back to.

What I found was to ask the CS agent if they could send a text message containing whatever it was you had agreed upon. By doing this the text was automatically added to your notes.
Ironically I'm thinking of moving the other way and coming back to Voda after a few years away. Never had a problem with signal and the current deals look really tempting but unfortunately it would seem the admin side is as terrible as it ever was.
