Number Blocking Outgoing / Incoming

I need to be able to block specific phone numbers on my plan across all devices but I need it for outgoing not just incoming. I can't access the second phone on the plan to be able to action this, can Vodafone do this?

You could certainly speak with customer service's on 191 or Live Chat or even the Vodafone Social Media Team's via Twitter DM or Facebook Messenger Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries.

There is a nuisance log form in the above link also as well as possible relevant information.

Your phone and other devices may also have a call and text blocking facility to help.

You can add and remove bars through your online account and Application but this will only be outgoing for premium rate numbers, calling abroad etc not for individual mobile numbers.  There is My Account Controls here: My Account Controls  where you will be able to manage individual numbers on the account to add and remove bars.

You can only block specific incoming calls and texts, not outgoing and that would be via your handset.

Mobile networks cannot do this at network level.

Hey @mytmrtwelve 👋 I'm really sorry, but there is no way to action this on our side. Outgoing calls can only be blocked from the handset by the user as @simax explained unfortunately.

Are you absolutely sure about that @Farai?

My Vodafone > services and extras > bars and data alerts > from there you will be able to bar sending premium rate calls, premium rate information services, receiving calls and text whilst abroad along with many other bars.  The same thing can also be done through the Application.   My Account Controls enables the main account customer to set bars for other numbers on the account.

We’re talking about blocking a specific number from calling the mobile concerned (ie: the boss or an ex-friend etc) - not a group of numbers such as premium rate. Definitely not possible at network level.
